Statement of Faith

Jamie Carte Ministries, (J.C.M.) believe in one God, the Father, the Son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, He was born unto Mary, through a virgin birth.  Jesus was crucified on a cross, He died, and was buried in a borrowed tomb.  He was resurrected from the dead and ascended into Heaven and is now seated on the right hand of Father God.  Jesus is true God and true Man.

We believe that one is saved by the confessing that Jesus is their Lord and the believing that God raised Him from the dead  "If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved."   Romans 10:9-10 (NLT)

We believe that our sins are forgiven through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ at Calvary. "Since we are now joined to Christ, we have been given the treasures of redemption by his blood—the total cancellation of our sins—all because of the cascading riches of his grace." Ephesians 1:7 (TPT)   We believe that every Born Again Believer is called to develop their relationship with Jesus Christ through Discipleship.  "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)

We believe that The Word of God is infallible and is God breathed.   And that Jesus, IS The Word of God. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1 (KJV)  "So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son." John 1:14 (NLT)

We believe in the sanctification in a Believers life through The Word Of God and by His Holy Spirit.   We believe that purity and the personal holiness of one's heart, life, and life style will also surface through the washing of The Word of God by His Holy Spirit. "Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming. 14 As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. 15 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”       1 Peter 1:13-16 (NIV)

We believe in the healing of believers that was obtained by Jesus Christ. Healing is not only in our bodies, but minds, relationships, finances, and emotions.  We are totally healed in Jesus Christ.

We believe in the act of water baptism after salvation. "Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Acts 2:38 (NLT)  "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," Matthew 29:19 (NIV)

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, in speaking with other tongues as the Spirit enables (Acts 2:4), and all of the gifts of the Spirit.  We believe that a believer shall show evidence of the fruit of the Spirit.  All of these are available to believers.

We believe that Jesus is coming back to get His Bride, the Church.  That the dead in Christ shall rise first and we that remain will meet Him in the air to be with the Lord forever  (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).
