"Absolutely . . . NOT!"

This Monthly Teaching Letter is brought to you FREE by Our Incredible Covenant Partners and Friends!  Thank You So Much!

Hallelujah Church!  We are in The Year of Jubilee and it's a wonderful Time of God!  We are also between two of The Major Feasts of God, Passover and Pentecost!   We Bless You and Your Families, Bodies, Minds and all areas of your lives in Jesus Name!  Let's get into this Month's Teaching . . .

There's a few words that I am going to "define" for us for this Month's Teaching.  Allow The Holy Spirit to minister to you as you read and "take in" these words and meanings.

Absolutely - with no qualification, restriction, or limitation; totally, completely, utterly, extremely, entirely, enormously, wholly, fully, definitely, certainly, positively, UNCONDITIONALLY, unquestionably, undoubtedly, exactly, in every way, in every respect, one hundred percent.

Reason - a cause, explanation, or justification for an action or event, grounds for what you think, to think logically, rationalize, to make sense of.

Compromise - an agreement reached by adjustment of conflicting or opposing claims, principles, something intermediate between different things.  Settlement of a dispute by concessions on both or all sides, something midway between two or more different things.  To adapt, arbitrate, bargain, make concessions, negotiate, retreat, settle, differ, to quarrel, trade-off, disagreement.

Politically Correct or "PC" - "Conforming to a belief that language and practices which could offend political sensibilities (as in matters of sex or race) should be eliminated.

Yeah . . . Sometimes!

The Word of God has ANSWERS!  Answers for EVERYTHING in life!  God made sure that we as His Children would have a Manual on how He wants us to do life and it's called The Bible.  Whether we need God's Will on how to do finances, marriage, raising children, how to have faith, how to cast out demons, how to walk in Love, how to be Born Again, how to do a business, how to run a Church, how to get wisdom, how to discipline, how to pray, fast, sow and reap, AND SO, SO MUCH MORE!  He has given us His Word and His Ways on how to do things.  He has given us extraordinary examples of people's lives in His Word to show us what they did wrong and what they did right.  Examples of how they did things according to The Lord's Commands and the benefits of following His Word and examples of what happens when the people did not obey His Commands or did not follow them completely.

crowd in front of church

See, we as The Church, The Body of Christ must ingrain within ourselves and in our minds that Jesus IS THE WORD!  "In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. 2 He was present originally with God." (John 1:1-2 (AMPC))  THE WORD OF GOD IS A MANIFESTATION OF JESUS, GOD HIMSELF!  Jesus, “The Word was with God” and then HE left Heaven (where Father God is) and HE came to Earth.  Jesus IS THE WORD OF GOD, THE BIBLE!  [The Word Made Flesh] And the Word (Christ) became flesh, and lived among us;” (John 1:14 (AMP))  THE WORD BECAME FLESH and lived among us!  The Word is God, The Word IS JESUS!  If you and I are not reading and in The Word of God we really can’t say that we know God!  Yes, we can be Born Again, but not be acquainted with God, for Jesus IS The Word!  When we are following The Word of God, we are following God.

Of course, we have the choice to not follow The Word of God.  We have the choice to decide that what we think is right and wrong instead of what The Word says, as we see many doing in The Church today.  Yet, God says that if you and I don't OBEY Him, then we really don't love Him!  Jesus told us not just once in His Word, but three times!  In John 14:15, 21, 23-24 (AMPC) If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands . . . . 21 The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me;  and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I [too] will love him and will show (reveal, manifest) Myself to him. [I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him.] . . . 23 Jesus answered, If a person [really] loves Me, he will keep My word [obey My teaching]; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him. 24 Anyone who does NOT [really] love Me does NOT observe and obey My teaching.  And the teaching which you hear and heed is not Mine, but [comes] from the Father Who sent Me."

team corporate people

Church, we have the choice to OBEY God’s Commands (His Word) or not.  The word, “if” is used above.  Again, we have a choice to OBEY God’s Word or not.  And we are clearly told that, Anyone who does NOT [really] love Me does NOT observe and obey My teaching.”  (verse 24)  WOW!  God WANTS US TO OBEY HIM and HIS WORD!  When we are not obeying The Word of God and making our own “reasons” up for life and coming up with our own grounds of what we believe and why, we are coming against A PERSON ALSO!  Because, The Word BECAME FLESH, The Word IS JESUS!  We, Bride of Christ, ARE NOT to just do some of The Word of God or the parts that we are comfortable with or agree with.  No, we are to do what The Word says, "absolutely" (totally, completely, utterly, extremely, entirely, enormously, wholly, fully, definitely, certainly, positively, UNCONDITIONALLY, unquestionably, undoubtedly, exactly, in every way, in every respect, one hundred percent!)

So, when situations came into Jesus' life, how did The Word, Jesus handle them?  He obeyed what God said about the matter at hand.  Jesus didn't just do whatever made "sense" to Him or what HE would "reason" out logically!  How much logic is there to spit in some dirt and make mud and put it on a blind man's eyes!  No, JESUS COMPLETELY OBEYED The Commandments that were given Him by Father God for the situation that Jesus was facing in His Life!  John 8:28-30 (AMPC) tells us, ". . . I DO NOTHING of Myself (of My own accord on My own authority), but I SAY [EXACTLY] WHAT MY FATHER HAS TAUGHT ME . . . 29 And He Who sent Me is ever with Me; My Father has not left Me alone, for I always do what pleases Him. 30 As He said these things, many believed in Him [trusted, relied on, and adhered to Him]."  Just like The Firstborn, Jesus handled life is how we, The other Children of God are to handle life as well!  If Jesus, The Word, Himself had to follow The Commandments of God, who do we think we are to NOT HAVE TO?  And yet, Jesus had a choice and so do we.

Jesus walked and lived on this Earth as a Man.  He operated with the same "rules" that we have.  Some say, Well Jesus could do all that He did because He is God?  And you are right to a point.  Yes, He is God.  Yet, He left all His Glory when He came to Earth.  "But emptied Himself [without renouncing or diminishing His deity, but only temporarily giving up the outward expression of divine equality and His rightful dignity] by assuming the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men [He became completely human but was without sin, being fully God and fully man]. 8 After He was found in [terms of His] outward appearance as a man [for a divinely-appointed time], He humbled Himself [still further] by becoming obedient [to the Father] to the point of death, even death on a cross." (Philippians 2:7-8 (AMP))

Jesus had to operate the same way that we would have to today.  If He only did the amazing things He did because He had special "powers" then how would we be able to do the things He did now in the Earth like HE told us to do?  Father God sent Jesus here to SHOW US HOW TO OPERATE IN THIS EARTH!   Jesus had a choice to obey, just like we do.

Jesus said, "I am able to do nothing from Myself [independently, of My own accord - but only as I am taught by God and as I get His orders]. Even as I hear, I judge [I decide as I am bidden to decide. As the voice comes to Me, so I give a decision], and My judgment is right (just, righteous), because I do not seek or consult My own will [I have no desire to do what is pleasing to Myself, My own aim, My own purpose] but only the will and pleasure of the Father Who sent Me." (John 5:30 (AMPC))

The REASON Is

man face looking

God chose a man to lead His People and to follow His Commands, and yet . . . "This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'I will punish the Amalekites for what they did to Israel when they waylaid them as they came up from Egypt. 3 Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.'" 4 So Saul summoned the men and mustered them at Telaim - two hundred thousand foot soldiers and ten thousand from Judah . . . . 7 Then Saul attacked the Amalekites all the way from Havilah to Shur, near the eastern border of Egypt. 8 He took Agag king of the Amalekites alive, and all his people he totally destroyed with the sword. 9 But Saul and the army spared Agag and the best of the sheep and cattle, the fat calves and lambs - everything that was good. These they were unwilling to destroy completely, but everything that was despised and weak they totally destroyed. 10 Then the word of the LORD came to Samuel: 11 "I regret that I have made Saul king, because he has turned away from me and has not carried out my instructions." Samuel was angry, and he cried out to the Lord all that night.

12 Early in the morning Samuel got up and went to meet Saul, but he was told, "Saul has gone to Carmel. There he has set up a monument in his own honor and has turned and gone on down to Gilgal."  13 When Samuel reached him, Saul said, "The LORD bless you!  I have carried out the LORD's instructions." 14 But Samuel said, "What then is this bleating of sheep in my ears?  What is this lowing of cattle that I hear?" 15 Saul answered, "The soldiers brought them from the Amalekites; they spared the best of the sheep and cattle to sacrifice to the LORD your God, but we totally destroyed the rest." 16 "Enough!" Samuel said to Saul. "Let me tell you what the LORD said to me last night." "Tell me," Saul replied. 17 Samuel said, "Although you were once small in your own eyes, did you not become the head of the tribes of Israel? The LORD anointed you king over Israel. 18 And he sent you on a mission, saying, 'Go and completely destroy those wicked people, the Amalekites; wage war against them until you have wiped them out.' 19 Why did you not obey the LORD? Why did you pounce on the plunder and do evil in the eyes of the LORD?"

20 "But I did obey the LORD," Saul said. "I went on the mission the LORD assigned me. I completely destroyed the Amalekites and brought back Agag their king. 21 The soldiers took sheep and cattle from the plunder, the best of what was devoted to God, in order to sacrifice them to the LORD your God at Gilgal." 22 But Samuel replied: "Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the LORD? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams. 23 For rebellion is like the sin of divination, and arrogance like the evil of idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, he has rejected you as king." 24  Then Saul said to Samuel, "I have sinned. I violated the LORD's command and your instructions. I was afraid of the men and so I gave in to them." 1 Samuel 15:2-4,7-24 (NIV)

Saul followed God's Word TO A POINT, NOT ALL THE WAY!  He carried out what he was NOT FEARFUL OF.  He did The Word of God THAT HE COULD "MAKE SENSE OF."  Saul couldn't see or find a "reason" as to WHY HE SHOULD DO WHAT GOD SAID COMPLETELY.  (He thought, Why get rid of all of these good animals and why not hold The King as a trophy, that just doesn't make sense to me.  What would be the reason for that?  I did most of what God commanded me to do.)  Saul took his thoughts and "reason" and applied it to the situation, INSTEAD OF DOING THE WORD OF GOD ABSOLUTELY.  Saul thought, "Well these cattle look good to me and the King of Agag would be a great "keep" for me . . . he would make me look good to my followers or other "soldiers."  They (the other soldiers (men)) want me to spare these animals and the King of Agag.  If I don't do what they want me to do, they may not follow me!"

Saul was the Leader and he DIDN'T WANT TO DO THE WORD OF GOD COMPLETELY and his soldiers didn't either!  The soldiers were satisfied with the obedience to God they had performed and so was Saul.  So, Saul stood with them and did not lead THEM to follow God completely.  The Leader, Saul, chose to COMPROMISE his actions and how he ran his "troops" or the "soldiers."  Saul even tried to convince Samuel and God that he and his group had OBEYED GOD'S WORD!  "But I did obey the LORD," Saul said."  They only OBEYED IN PART and NOT ALL THE WAY!  Let's really get this Church!  If you and I don't obey The Word of God ABSOLUTELY, then we are not IN OBEDIENCE!

hand in hand together

Of course there is grace Church, and when Jesus came we have been forgiven and yet we still have to OBEY GOD and HIS WORD!  There are "lines that have been drawn" by The Lord.  There are sins that if you continually do or support and if you don't REPENT and get those things out of your life, then those sins can keep you away from God and you can't inherit the Kingdom of God!  That is what the word "apostasy" means!  One who knew God and then leaves Him!  He doesn't leave us, we can leave Him!  Making the decision to habitually sin and not repent and turn to God will eventually harden your heart and you will decide that YOUR WAY and YOUR REASON for continuing in sin is right and The Bible is wrong.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (NLT) shows us that, "Don't you realize those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, 10 or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people - none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. 11 Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God."  God is talking to Church folk here!  He's talking to the Church at Corinth!  He is telling them you cannot "indulge" in these sins and inherit The Kingdom of God (Heaven)!  "You were once like that," means you used to do that, if you go back and "indulge" in these sins, you won't inherit The Kingdom of God!  God has made Himself and the "rules" of The Kingdom of God very clear to us in His Word.  Don't try to "reason" with sin, just obey God's Word!

The Bible is a manifestation of God, Himself!  The Word became God and dwelt Among Us!  The Word of God . . . IS GOD!  You cannot say that you are of God and not do what He says to do!  Of course, I'm not speaking about a New Born Christian!  There is grace for those who just don't know better YET!  The ones who have seen in The Word or have been told that something is a sin and they refuse to submit or surrender to God and His Word and continue to habitually disobey and rebel, they will be making the choice to forfeit and lay down their inheritance with God and His Kingdom.  And just as Saul, as a Leader made the decision to NOT LEAD HIS FOLLOWERS IN THE WORD AND COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, HE ALLOWED and LED MANY OTHERS INTO DISOBEDIENCE TOO!  Saul did not stand for The Word of God!  Saul did not tell his followers what God said to do!  And Saul did not tell his followers that if they did not do what God said to do ABSOLUTELY then they were in disobedience to God and His Word!  He was afraid of his followers and he sinned and he led them to sin!  " . . . I have sinned. I violated the LORD's command and your instructions. I was afraid of the men and so I gave in to them." 1 Samuel 15:24 (NIV)

ABSOLUTELY!

 people in team work

One compromises when they see a situation and "reason" it out INSTEAD OF DOING WHAT THE WORD OF GOD SAYS TO DO IN THAT SITUATION.  Then a person will try to "explain" what they are doing or not doing by the "reasons" they have thought up and are following.  Saul began giving his "reasons" (grounds for what you think logically) as to why he kept the animals and kept King Agag.  He thought that what he thought about the situation was more "logical" and made more sense to him.  Saul thought and even said that he had carried out The Lord's Instructions to him!  God had given Saul specific Commands and The Bible says that he and his army were, "unwilling to destroy COMPLETELY" what God had said to.  Saul's argument with Samuel, the man of God and his argument with God was that his PARTIAL OBEDIENCE TO GOD'S WORD . . . WAS OBEDIENCE!  God's Word to Saul then and His Word to us NOW is the same!  We either OBEY ABSOLUTELY and COMPLETELY The Word of God or WE ARE NOT OBEYING AT ALL according to Him!

And just giving The Lord an Offering to “make up” for our PARTIAL OBEDIENCE to His Word does not work with Him.  Saul tried to explain that he spared the choice animals to be able to sacrifice them unto The Lord.  God wanted Saul’s obedience, and nothing else.  God wanted Saul’s ABSOLUTE OBEDIENCE!  GOD HAS NOT CHANGED!  HE REQUIRES ABSOLUTE OBEDIENCE FROM US TOO!  (And because Saul did not fully obey The Lord’s Commands, we see the Amalekites further on in History trying to destroy God’s People.  You’ll find the Amalekites in The Book of Esther planning to do evil again!  Had Saul FULLY OBEYED, the Amalekites would not have been in existence!)

That’s Not What I Think!

Fear of man and what they think . . . . Saul did it.  I have sinned.  I violated the Lord’s command and your instructions. I was afraid of the men and so I gave in to them.” 1 Samuel 15:24 (NIV)  And people are doing it every day . . .  IN THE CHURCH!  Many Pastors and Leaders in our Churches today are NOT STANDING FOR WHAT THE WORD OF GOD SAYS ON MATTERS OF SIN!  They are allowing sin to penetrate their people and not confronting it!  THE ALL OUT ATTACK and STRATEGY FROM THE DEVIL OF OUR DAY ON THE CHURCH, IS CALLED . . . “POLITICAL CORRECTNESS.”

Many people in our Church do not want to be labeled as one against or judging people who commit the sins of abortion, homosexuality, fornication, adultery, murders, theft, drunkards and other sins in our Churches!  The people and Leaders do not want to be labeled as “haters” of that person or group who practices that sin.  The Church has moved RIGHT INTO THE CENTER of this cultural move of not CALLING OUT SIN WHEN IT’S HAPPENING!!!!!  There are some Churches that fear man instead of God and will not tell the people The Truth of what God says about these sins and will not exercise Godly and loving discipline to them.  TRUTH is what sets people free!

 freedom girl in the sunrise

If The Church and Her Leaders do not call out sin according to God and His Word, then who will?  The World surely will not!  Of course you love people and minister to them, yet you DO NOT tell them that their sin is okay, Because they were born that way or I just can't help it.  All of us have to crucify our flesh!  Love is never taught in The Bible that it has no boundaries!  God, Who Is Love has set forth boundaries in His Word because HE DOES LOVE US!  TELLING PEOPLE THE BOUNDARIES OF THE WORLD IS LOVE!  We can't STAND FOR and WITH SIN and then obey the other things in The Bible and think that we are in obedience.  That's what Saul tried to do!  Partial obedience is not obedience!

God has said what HE means in His Word!  We are not to take an issue that God has stated in His Word that is wrong and sin and "reason" it out to be right.  We don't need to "form an opinion" on something that God has already gave us His Will on the matter in His Word!  God never called us to be "politically correct" and change our stance on what is sin and what is not like the World has.  God told us very clearly in His Word what is wrong and what is right.  And just because the World says its RIGHT NOW, doesn't mean that it is, or that God has changed His Mind!

fishing in the lake

Political Correctness is an all out strategy of the Devil!  It is meant to SILENCE THE CHURCH!  It is meant for those who speak out against sin to either be shamed or to be made to be in the wrong and to be punishable by the World's Law.  Political Correctness is a bait to The Church to see which ones will take the "bait" and bend to the World instead of obeying The Word of God.  And it is working!  Many Churches are siding with the changing culture of political correctness and saying that homosexuality, people living together and having sex outside of marriage, drinking, abortion (murder) and other sins against The Word of God are OK in our time in History.  Many Churches have changed because the World and its beliefs have changed!  The "beliefs" and "doctrines" of this World are what many Churches are standing on instead of God's Word!

And what is the one thing that The Bible tells us will make void and nullify God's Word to people and to His Church?

". . . These people [constantly] honor Me with their lips, but their hearts hold off and are far distant from Me. 7 In vain (fruitlessly and without profit) do they worship Me, ordering and teaching [to be obeyed] as doctrines the commandments and precepts of men. 8 You disregard and give up and ask to depart from you the commandment of God and cling to the tradition of men [keeping it carefully and faithfully]. 9 And He said to  them, You have a fine way of REJECTING [thus THWARTING and NULLIFYING and DOING AWAY with] the commandment of God in order to keep your tradition (your own human regulations)!" Mark 7:6-9 (AMPC)

Mark 7:13 IN MANY TRANSLATIONS tells us, (AMPC) "Thus you are nullifying and making void (worthless) and of no effect [the authority of] the Word of God through your tradition, which you [in turn] hand on. And many things of this kind you are doing."  And in the New Living Version (NLV) "You are putting away the Word of God to keep your own teaching. You are doing many other things like this."  In the (NCV) (New Century Version) "By your own rules, which you teach people, you are rejecting what God said. And you do many things like that."  In the (ERV) (East To Read Version) "So you are teaching that it is not important to do what God said. You think it is more important to follow those traditions you have, which you pass on to others. And you do many things like that."

Trying to follow the World's culture and not The Word of God will NOT BRING YOU FREEDOM friend, only The Truth will set you free!  The Devil has always wanted to stop The Word of God and Its Truth!  He wants to stop The People of God from saying The Word of God and following The Word of God!  The FIGHT HAS ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT THE WORD OF GOD!  In Acts 5:27-29 (AMPC) we see, "So they brought them and set them before the council (Sanhedrin). And the high priest examined them by questioning, 28 Saying, We definitely commanded and strictly charged you not to teach in or about this Name; yet here you have flooded Jerusalem with your doctrine and you intend to bring this Man's blood upon us. 29 Then Peter and the apostles replied, We must obey God rather than men."

words in bible

This is all about bringing pressure to God's People to COMPROMISE and not follow God and His Word and to bend to disobedience which leads to destruction.  This pressure is meant for us to not have allegiance to God and His Word and to change our allegiance to the Devil and sin.  People of God . . . DON'T FALL FOR IT!  Pastors . . . STAY WITH THE WORD OF GOD, DON'T COMPROMISE!  I encourage you to follow The Word of God, ABSOLUTELY and COMPLETELY!  Don't try to "reason" with sin!  Follow what The Master says!  Stand against what He is against!  Live your life HOW HE says to!  If The Word says something is wrong . . . it's wrong!  DON'T LIVE YOUR LIFE ACCORDING TO WHAT THE WORLD SAYS!  You are strong Warriors in The Kingdom of God!  Stand for Him and His Word!  Live your precious life according to what The Word says!  WHATEVER THE BIBLE SAYS . . . DO IT, LIVE IT, SAY IT . . . BE LIKE HIM!  BE THE WORD IN THIS WORLD!  The Lord loves you and so do we!

One Last Thing!

Repent to God and be ready for His Coming!  If you are away from God and not living for Him, Repent and give Him your life!  Don't keep waiting!  Just pray out loud and mean it with all your heart and say, Lord, I know that I have sinned and been living wrong, please forgive me!  Come into my life and save me and do something with my life!  Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit!  Jesus, I make You The Lord of my life, in Jesus Name!  Let us know if you have surrendered your life to God!
